How to create a validation rate

Validation rates can be used on promotion codes, validation QR codes and bluetooth validation beacons to discount a customer’s parking.

The process

Log into the customer management portal and select rates from the left menu.
Select your site from the drop down list.
Select add rate.
Add a name for the rate.
Select which user groups can use the rate (recommended ‘All Users’ for validation rates).
Select the type of rate you want to create.
Select Yes the rate will apply when a parking session is validated (this is what makes the rate a ‘validation rate’).
Select the days and hours the rate is applicable during.
Set up the rate type and pricing.
Set whether the rate is a flat rate or not.
Select create rate to complete the process.
