Gate lifting

Inugo allows you to manually lift a gate either in the customer management portal or via the app.

To lift a gate remotely in the customer management portal, the user must have Site Administrator role enabled. To lift a gate remotely via the app, the user must have the Gate Administrator role enabled.

How to lift a gate in the Customer Management Portal

Process

  1. Log into the Customer Management portal and choose activity from the left side menu.

  2. Click open gate.

  3. Choose the site that the gate is on.

  4. Choose the gate to lift.

  5. Give a reason for the gate lift. i.e., to let a contractor on site. 

The activity will show under the activity tab. The interaction type will be admin and the outcome will show the comment left under reason. 

How to lift a gate in the App

Process

  1. Open the app.

  2. Go to access.

  3. Find the site that the gate is on, in the list.

  4. Select the gate you’d like to open.

  5. Click the blue button to open the gate.

The activity will show under the activity tab.
