Space management

Space management is a way to segment a site into different sections. Each section can be associated to a group, have its own access rules, rates and be managed by an account.

Space block are also used to manage occupancy and determine the number of bookings that can be made on a site. When all public spaces are in use, the site will show as occupied in the app.

Key Terms

Account

An account is an entity that can manage a space and a group that it is associated with. An account can have an account owner, who can log to the customer management portal to manage the account.   

Space block

A space block is a group of parking bays/spaces on a site. These are created to manage the number of space blocks allocated to specific accounts, groups and booking rates. 

Bay

A bay is a single car bay/space that is allocatable.

Parking Space(s)

A parking space is a car space that is not allocated like a bay. When referred to in plural, it is the number of car park spaces that are on a site or allocated to a space block. 

Private/ Restricted

A space, rate or group that is private or restricted means that its settings are configured to specified groups in the customer management portal. 

Bookings

A pre made reservation to a site through the app. Bookings can be monetised by configuring a booking rate.
