How to edit grace period on a site

A grace period refers to a specified amount of time during which a parker can start a session, and stop a session, without incurring any additional charges or penalties.

Process

1. Log into the Customer Management portal and select rates from the left side menu.

2. In the top bar options, select Transient.

3. In the filter, select the site you want to update the grace period for.

4. Select the down arrow under the settings header.

5. Select the grace period in the drop down.

6. Select which rates the grace period applies to.

7. Select update to complete the process.

The grace period will effect the following:

• Gate openings.

• If a user starts and stops their session within the grace period they will not be charged.

It does not effect enforcement at the location, unless you are using Inguo’s rules engine to calculate violations.
